Arts Awards

The Everyman Theatre is an Arts Award centre, which means we are validated to deliver the Trinity College London Arts Award qualifications to young people aged 5-25 years.  We can take individuals or groups through their Arts Award programme and we can help them complete all aspects of their award including marking and organising their moderation.

We have trained advisers to help participants develop creative and leadership skills across any art form at all the 5 levels of the award

We have had another fantastic term in our evening youth club sessions at The Rock, as through working with the Everyman our young people get a great opportunity to complete their Discover Arts Award. Cam made a great programme for the group with a wide variety of opportunities - Beatboxing with local rapper JPDL, Circus skills with touring stilts expert & drama skills. Its great seeing our young people giving new skills and talents a go.

Chris, Youth Worker at The Rock

I think Arts Awards are incredible for young people as they teach them such a variety of skills. They encourage them to be more active and more confident, teach them organisation skills and responsibility. It also allows young people to get better at understanding their own and others’ emotions, making them more mature and more open towards new opportunities.

If you ever think about seeing yourself under a different light or exploring your creative side do not hesitate and try doing Arts Awards with Everyman Theatre.  This is more than just about mastering skills, it is about discovering a voice you didn’t know you had.

Anna, Gold Arts Award student

The Everyman are a consistent support for our work at The Rock, their cohesiveness and expertise help us offer the young people such great experiences and opportunities to access the arts and gain valuable skills and qualifications at such significant point in their adolescence. Their staff are inclusive, supportive and really relatable and they are a great pleasure to work with. We really value their partnership in all that we offer and do as a organization.
