Terms and Conditions

Code of Conduct

The Everyman Theatre reserves the right to ask anyone causing a disturbance to other customers, staff or the performance, to leave the venue.

We have zero tolerance for abuse or discrimination of any kind, whether towards other customers, staff or performers. Anybody who displays this behaviour will be removed from the venue immediately.

Customers with learning disabilities will not be asked to leave a performance due to any behaviour that is a result of their disability, as per the Equality Act 2010. Please feel free to speak to a member of staff if you require any assistance.

Children, school parties, youth groups and those in need of special care are the responsibility of their parents, guardians, teachers and carers, who must ensure appropriate behaviour in the theatre.

The use of mobile phones, cameras and any form of recording equipment is strictly prohibited anywhere in the auditorium, unless otherwise specified.

Please respect other audience members and their enjoyment of the performance: don't talk, don't sing along (unless encouraged to by performers) and don't stand up and dance if there are people sitting behind you.

Customers must consume food and drink with consideration for others and must not cause disruption to the performance. Cups are available at our kiosk to pour wrapped sweets into before the performance starts.

Any food and drink consumed at the theatre must be bought from the venue. Please do not bring your own food or drink unless for medical reasons or for very young children.

We reserve the right to refuse entry or re-entry to the auditorium to customers who are intoxicated by drink or drugs. We reserve the right to remove customers from the venue, when intoxicated.

Changes

The brochure is correct at the time of printing. Due to circumstances beyond our control the Everyman Theatre reserves the right to make alterations to the programme and/or cast. Refunds will not be issued in these circumstances.

Late Arrivals

Every effort will be made to admit latecomers as soon as a suitable break occurs, but admission is not guaranteed.

Babies and Children

The Everyman strongly advises parents not to bring children under two, except for specific productions. We consider the Pantomime and ballet to be suitable for over 5s. Baby changing facilities are available on the ground floor. Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
