Theatre Dance Classes for Over 60s

Step it out for body and soul!!!
Goldenstep dance classes are a refreshing way to enhance your overall fitness, balance and mobility whilst giving a mood boosting hand to your mental health. Especially for people aged 60+, you need no dance experience to enjoy our classes as we work to build your confidence in a supportive and sociable environment with a dedicated dance teacher, but we also offer an intermediate level class for dancers with extensive experience.
Golden Step has been running for over ten years and centres on celebrating dance routines inspired by Hollywood and West End musicals such as My Fair Lady, Chicago, Grease, Hello Dolly, 42nd Street, Cats and Oklahoma and our warm ups take the musical range even further afield to include jazz, swing, rock & roll, pop and salsa!
Not just a fun and engaging way to enjoy dance, Golden Step also offers a great way to make new friendships and socialise in a positive community environment.
Beginner and Intermediate classes are on Fridays in Matchams Restaurant space at the Everyman Theatre.
