Cloud Chamber: Gavin Greenaway & Caroline Dale

Cloud Chamber are Gavin Greenaway (piano) and Caroline Dale (cello), whose careers span more than 30 years at the forefront of film and concert music.

Inhabiting a space between traditional ‘classical’ music and the neo-classical music of today, Cloud Chamber make music which is melodic and lyrical - ‘stories without words’ full of emotion and colour.

Emmy award winning composer, Gavin Greenaway has conducted over 200 film scores (Gladiator, How to Train Your Dragon, Wicked, Interstellar), composed music for the theatre, TV and film, the Vancouver Winter Olympics, songs with Bryan Adams and two solo albums of his own piano music.

Caroline Dale has performed with the Nigel Kennedy Quartet, the English Chamber Orchestra, David Gilmour, David Gray and Sinead O’Connor; as concerto soloist with the LPO, RPO etc; and as featured soloist on film such as Atonement, Hilary and Jackie and Truly Madly Deeply. Her solo album Such Sweet Thunder combines classical repertoire with her own compositions.
