The World of Pat Metheny

Tom Ollendorff is a jazz guitarist based in London. In 2015 Tom was awarded the Yamaha Scholarship for Outstanding Jazz Musicianship. Tom has performed with a wide range of highly respected artists and ensembles, including Geoff Simkins, Dave Cliff, Bill McHenry, Jeff Williams, Ari Hoenig, French group EYM and Welsh Singer Megan Thomas. He has appeared at many venues and festivals in the UK, France, China, Slovakia, Switzerland and Holland. 

Former winner of the Daily Telegraph Young Jazz Musician of the Year competition, Dom Franks is a saxophonist and composer who has worked in a wide range of styles; from classical solo engagements with the Oxford Pro Musica Singers to session work on a number of hit singles. More recently he has toured the UK with his Dom Franks’ Strayhorn quartet. His influences as a musician are eclectic, taking in Art Pepper, Wayne Shorter, Sonny Rollins, Maceo Parker, Kenny Garrett, and Paul Desmond.

Tommy Scott’s exciting piano style is inspired by Herbie Hancock, Danilo Perez, Kenny Kirkland, Joey Calderazzo, Brad Mehldau, and many others, forging his own unique sound and creativity into the world of jazz. 

For this special concert, Tom, Dom, and Tommy will be exploring the wonderful music of the master jazz guitarist and composer, Pat Metheny.
