Saturday Night's Variety Night: A fundraiser for the children of Sierra Leone
Don't miss this spectacular evening of entertainment in support of
In 2015 Jen David, a member of the Everyman Theatre's Community Choir and her husband, Simon, set out on an ambitious plan to build a primary school for the children of the Masama Village of Sierra Leone in just 12 weeks. Having completed their original task, the pair are now wanting to build a nursery at the school.
To help Simon and Jen accomplish their goals, the Everyman Theatre is pleased to present a special evening of entertainment to raise funds to build the much-needed nursery for the children of the Kambia District of Sierra Leone. Saturday Night's Variety Night will be a star-studded event presenting an eclectic line-up of performers including:
- Magic and mayhem from Mark Shortland
- Cheltenham's very own saxophone and vocal sensation Kim Cypher accompanied by her fantastic all-star band
- Performances from the Everyman Theatre's own EveryVoice Choirs
- Australian singing sensation Hattie Oates
- Comedy folk band Folk On
- Along with your host for the evening BBC Radio Gloucestershire and Radio4's Faye Hatcher
