Chet Baker was one of the great jazz masters of all time. This is a very special opportunity to hear his music performed live by some of the UK’s finest jazz musicians.

During a career of over 20 years, trumpeter Quentin Collins has established himself as one of the UK’s top jazz/commercial players. He has performed, toured and recorded with a plethora of internationally renowned artists across many genres including Fred Wesley, Kyle Eastwood, Gregory Porter, Mark Ronson, Omar, Roy Ayers, Basement Jaxx, Alicia Keys, Dennis Rollins and Mulatu Astatke as well as a recent recording project with US pianist Dan Nimmer (Wynton Marsalis). Quentin also held an eight-year residency at London’s prestigious Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club with his quartet.

Misha Mullov-Abbado is an in-demand bass player, composer and arranger based in London. He is a 2017 BBC Radio 3 New Generation Artist and a 2014 City of Music Foundation Artist, and he is also winner of the 2014 Kenny Wheeler Jazz Prize.

On piano we welcome back the dynamic pianist Tommy Scott, whose performances at Chapel Arts are always captivating.

The legendary drummer Tony Mann will also be performing with them for this concert. Tony has played with many of the greats since the 1960’s, including Chet Baker, Tubby Hayes, and Al Haig!
