The production of Military Wives, scheduled for 30 September – 4 October at the Everyman Theatre, Cheltenham has been postponed. In order to further develop the project and ensure the highest quality production that the story deserves, Military Wives will be rescheduled for a later date.

Based on the extraordinary true story of the Military Wives Choir which inspired the hit movie, Military Wives, this heartfelt story now finds its natural home – live on stage!. The team who turned the global hit Nativity into a stage sensation, writer and director Debbie Isitt and musical maestro George Dyer, are reuniting to bring us this incredible new musical.

The show celebrates a diverse group of military wives who decide to form a choir while their loved ones are away fighting in a combat zone. The group supports each other through music, fun and laughter as unexpected bonds of friendship begin to flourish. An idea born on an army base suddenly becomes much bigger and we watch to see whether the misfit group can unite to rise to the challenge as well as conquer their fears.

Packed with songs you know and love (including Signed, Sealed Delivered; Girls Just Wanna Have Fun; Fix You; Make You Feel My Love and many more), Military Wives takes the audience on a musical journey of joy, sadness and laughter; and celebrates how precious life, love and friendship can be.
