This Event Takes Place @ Chapel Arts, Cheltenham (Chapel Arts, Knapp Road (Near St. James Square), Cheltenham. GL50 3QQ)

About to enter her final year on the MMUS Programme in Vocal Studies at Trinity Laban in London Megan graduated from the Associated Studio's Advanced Opera programme in 2018, and has also trained with the Lyric Opera studio in Weimar where she played the role of Papagena (Die Zauberflöte). After leaving school Megan trained as an actor, specialising in Theatre in Education with Peer Productions. She toured with them in educational plays and workshops - including a surprisingly musical show on teenage pregnancy and sexual health - to secondary schools across the southeast of England. In 2014 she made her operatic debut as the title role of Patience with Cirencester Operatic Society; having caught the 'opera bug' Megan began working with various small and touring opera companies including Opera Anywhere, Hewlett Opera, Oxford Opera and North Wales Opera, recent roles including: Adina (Elixir of Love), Suor Angelica (Suor Angelica) Countess Almaviva (Le Nozze de Figaro). Megan is honoured to be a founding member of Sorelle, an all-female operatic concert trio who made their debut in 2019.

Barrie Cooper is the Director/Accompanist of the Dursley Male Voice Choir, and also directs the Stanley Singers ladies' choir. For these and other choirs he has made dozens of arrangements and composed a number of original songs. Until quite recently he was a regular and successful competitor at The Cheltenham Music Festival, but now prefers to concentrate on his first love, namely accompanying singers. Unusual highlights of a career as accompanist spanning more than sixty years include accompanying Wyn Evans (the Go Compare man) at Cheltenham Town Hall, and playing Edelweiss for a singing tour guide in a pizzeria in Pyongyang, North Korea.
