Make A Mosaic Angel with Emma Leith

Everyone needs an angel - and Emma’s course is the perfect place to learn all about the skills of breaking and nibbling (not with your teeth) mosaic tiles, planning your design and colour scheme. Join us for this relaxed, informal day in the lead up to Christmas.    

The cost for the day is £78, to include all materials and a welcome coffee/tea and piece of cake. You are encouraged to bring a decorative piece of china to incorporate into the mosaic, something chipped or cracked that you would love to re-imagine or a vintage tea cup or saucer from your local charity shop. Try to avoid anything too thick…so no Ikea coffee mugs! 

Your angel will be approx. 25 cm x 30 cm in size with a hanging hook on the back. You may like to bring an apron with you to protect your clothes from the glue and grout. For your info the materials include glass and ceramic mosaic tiles, glass marbles, glue and grout. Nippers and safety goggles are also supplied for use on the day. The course is suitable for all abilities from complete beginners up.  

Limited numbers so book your place soon. There will be a break for lunch. We do have a cafe serving snacks or you may like to bring your own.
