This Event Takes Place @ Chapel Arts, Cheltenham (Chapel Arts, Knapp Road (Near St. James Square), Cheltenham. GL50 3QQ)
Leo Live is a singer-songwriter, musician, visual and recording artist, performer and entertainer and the founder of tuneriver.com.
Leo started out on the London Camden indie circuit in the 90s with the band Lemonade Hand Grenade and Glycerine and has wowed fans with his own band The Holy Sinners and with the popular Gloucestershire-based covers-band Over The Hill.
As part of the World War 1 (WW1) centenary commemoration, in 2015, Leo was awarded a Heritage Lottery grant to compose and perform pieces (songs were woven together to create two complete works – one piece exactly 19:14 long and the other 19:18 long) with collaborative partner George Moorey called ‘WarSongs’.
Based upon research from the Gloucestershire Archives into the poetry of Ivor Gurney, 99 musicians – a mix of professional, semi-professional and schools and community groups – performed the pieces in the final performance at The Guildhall.
Leo’s artwork has been featured in solo and group exhibitions at The Guildhall, The Royal College of Arts, The Diorama Gallery and online exhibitions like Bowie Art.
Since launching tuneriver.com in 2018, Leo now also delivers personalised songs to people as gifts for a variety of occasions, and has built a network of songwriters that are being featured as Tuneriver promoted artists.
