João Menezes is an exceptional guitarist and singer from Portugal.  He explores styles of Brazilian music and jazz.

Since his arrival in London in 2016 to study at the acclaimed Guildhall School of Music & Drama, he has been performing around London sharing his passion for music, always surrounded by incredibly talented musicians. 

He’s performing with two wonderful musicians, Marcinho Pereira on drums and Matheus Nova on Bass. They will be exploring different rhythms of the Brazilian soundscape like Bossa Nova, Samba, Baião, Ijexá and MPB with arrangements from composers like João Bosco, Gilberto Gil, Djavan, Guinga, Toninho Horta, Seu Jorge and many others.
