Join pastel, watercolour, oil and acrylic artist, Simon Hodges for a day working with and learning about pastels.

Simon will be showing you the versatility and magic of pastels together with their incorporation into other mediums and suitability for sketching.  This is an interaction with sketchbooks which anyone can take part in.

Simon also works in watercolour, oil and acrylic. 

He says, ‘Living in Bath, Somerset, I am an invited artist to galleries in Bath and Bradford on Avon and show work in galleries and exhibitions around the country. 

Winning national awards in charcoal, watercolour, oil and pastel; selling work to collectors around the world and receiving many favourable comments are a wonderful reward for work I love doing. But ultimately, it is the process of working that is the most rewarding and keeps me sane.”

11 am to 4 pm with a break for lunch

Please bring your own packed lunch. We do have a fridge/plates/knives and forks you can use, and we sell soft drinks/coffees/teas.

Children, accompanied by parents are also very welcome.
