As both an actress and a singer, April trained in Musical Theatre at the Guildford School of Acting. Locally, she has been in numerous shows in and around Cheltenham- playing roles such as Cosette in Les Miserables (Theatre Studio), Bet in Oliver (Cotswold Savoyards) Cherubino in Le Nozze di Figaro (Hewletts Opera) and Eurydice in Orpheus and the Underworld (Longborough Youth Opera). Attending many masterclasses, April has worked with the English Touring Opera and was lucky enough to perform to Tony Award nominee and star of Miss Saigon, Eva Noblezada. She was very grateful to receive the Elizabeth Webster cup for 'Outstanding contribution to the Arts in Cheltenham' following years of success at the Cheltenham Festival of Performing Arts alongside organising and performing in a charity concert for the local Sue Ryder hospice, raising £1,500. April is thrilled to be invited back to Chapel Arts for this performance and is looking forward to a summer filled with music before she starts a new chapter reading Education, International Development and Policy at Jesus College, Cambridge.
