Everyman Theatre Actor's Lab

The Actors' Lab

In 2017 the Actors' Lab will celebrate its 15th anniversary. Formed by the Everyman Theatre in collaboration with Equity/TUC in 2002, it is currently overseen by the Everyman's Creative Director, Paul Milton (website). Designed to provide ongoing training and development for professional performers, it's also an opportunity to network with fellow actors, directors, casting directors and agents. It is open to Equity members/professional performers based in the Midlands and South West of England.

Monday 11th September 6.30 - 9.30pm
15th birthday celebration in the Everyman Theatre's Directors Lounge (previously the Langtry Room), hosted by Paul Milton. A networking event, with discussion: The opportunites and challenges facing regional actors. A free event, but please contact Paul if you would like to attend (

Monday 16th October 6.30 - 9.30pm
Singing workshop with Pam Rudge (Studio Theatre). Singing for the actor - a relaxed, informal approach with lots of handy technical hints. Cost £17.50

Sunday 5th November 10.30am - 4.30pm 

Joint Actors' and Writers' Lab Day. Devising/writing/acting (Studio Theatre). Led by Ian Wainwright. An opportunity for actors and writers to develop work together. A light lunch will be provided. Cost £25.

Monday 11th December 6.30 - 9.30pm

Acting workshop. (Garden Room, St Andrews Church). Led by Bryn Holding - Artisitc Director of Hammerpuzzle Theatre Company. Cost £17.50
