The Everyman Theatre has been proud to support The Walk from Good Chance Theatre, an international project aimed at highlighting the plight of an estimated 33 million children who are currently displaced worldwide.

As part of the project the Everyman Theatre's Education and Community team took part in a number of community outreach and engagement projects culminating in the reveal of a giant sculpture titled Displaced Child by local artist Natasha Houseago. The sculpture is currently on public display at Gloucester Cathedral prior to a move to the Everyman Theatre.

The aim of this project has been to shed light on the plight of displaced children everywhere and to support GARAS in their work with refugees right here in Gloucestershire. For more information on the work of GARAS please click here.

Thank you for your interest in this project and we hope you can make a donation to support their work.
